I went to middle school with Brandon Landry, he is a pretty cool guy, but I think the Walk on burgers suck and I ask this about their burgers.
IMO, a mistake that is made is wanting to serve a "big juicy burger" and I think this is what happens at Walk-ons. When the patty is too thick, sometimes its going to come out not fully cooked in the middle. And there is a such thing as over seasoning. I tried a steak at walkons once (knowing it was likely a bad idea) and it was the most overseasoned steak I ever had.
If this is how Small Sliders cook their food then I know I will not like it.. at least enough to think "I feel like eating Small Sliders today".

In n out has a good fast food burger. Their fries suck arse though. Some of the worst shite I've ever eaten.

Food in general has gone up way too much. I am reconsidering eating out as much and looking for specials as much as I can.
I would say I would cook more, but by the time I leave the grocery store, I end up spending double or triple what I would pay with a single meal at a restaurant.

There are several famous people that I'd be very hesitant to talk shite to in person, but I don't feel like Drew Brees would be all that intimidating. He's probably a good dude, but I can't imagine him being scary.

Walk-Ons has turned to shite. Ate at one tonight and one of the worst restaurant meals and service I’ve had in years. Not even going to give this new shite a try.

To be fair, I think they're going for the whole "high fat content/buttered brioche bun/fancy sauce" angle that's really popular in recent years, which tends to be greasy from all of the fat. No matter who makes it.
I like that style of burger, but it is incredibly very rich due to the butter, fat, and cheese. I can only eat a small amount before it's too rich for me.

Shitty food. Gave me the shits for days after. Buns soaked in grease (They say butter, but it’s still grease). Not sure how the one in Slidell is going to last, deader than a doornail.
