He's not going to State. They confirmed it on their board yesterday.

I want jay Johnson to go after who he wants, not who fat lemonis is shooting for.

If jay thinks he’s the guy then I’m all for it. His first three hires got HC P5 job offers so the hire will be a splash.

on the other hand, what pitcher(s) are going to follow Wes Johnson when he goes to Georgia?

Kid needs to make a move for himself. He’s good enough to pitch anywhere. I want Mayers for sure.

the least of my worries is Jay Johnson hiring assistants
three have already left for head coaching jobs
that doesn't happen with that frequency
Josh Jordan will be a head coach pretty soon too

two premium jobs could open as soon as next year - if Lemonis and Bianco have another similar year both could be gone
Van Horn is 62, you have to wonder how long he wants to continue to do it because let's face it, it's become a grind

With portal and draft, coaches don't get a break these days and not long after draft, school starts in August and fall ball is just around the corner

I doubt anyone, but anyone that does probably isn’t a concern.

I think Wes's first order of business is trying to keep the UGA players from leaving
They had some decent pitching talent to work with

He needs to worry about keeping that stud freshman hitter

I trust Jay to find the right replacement for Wes Johnson. But until then I'm not going to worry about potential names when no one knows who he is going after. He has a CWS to win.

Have seen Nate Yeskie's name floating around, A&M's pitching coach. Worked with Jay at Arizona, also worked at Oregon St during some of their glory years.

Everyone just chill… Coach Johnson’s ability to bring in quality is not in question. Did anyone know of Skenes or Tommy Tanks before last season. Relax, enjoy. Go Tigers

What? Most college fans knew who they were.
