Will be in Boulder for a day next week. Anyone have restaurant suggestions for lunch and dinner? Also, brewery recommendations.

The Sink is the local college place. Good beer on tap.
The Buff for breakfast/brunch. Get a white Buffalo.
Flagstaff Restaurant. Make reservations. Get there early. Enjoy a drink and arguably the best view of any restaurant you’ll ever go to. The food was very good as well.

Just as an aside, Boulder had the rudest people I’ve ever been around in my whole life. Seriously. Everyone there was a pretentious douche. Get some edibles and hike the Flat Irons. Amazing views.

I went to grad school at CU and go up there a few times a month for work.

Blackbelly Butcher has awesome sandwiches for lunch then good drinks and snack for happy hour. I have never eaten dinner there, but I am sure it is good. Great breakfast burritos.

The Kitchen has been a staple for a few years for dinner.

Rincon Argentino for empanadas.

Shamane's Bakery makes great croissants, brownies, and ham and cheese sandwiches with butter.

For breweries, Upslope(Flat Iron Park location), Avery and Sanitas. If you like thick IPAs then drive up to Nederland to Knotted Root(or take the bus). Mountain Sun is fine but I never have liked drinking there.

Breweries:

Sanitas, Upslope, and Four Noses are really good.

Uhl has great beer, but if scenery matters to you, it's kind of in a strip mall.

Avery is good but only if you want 1 or 2 small pours. All of their really good stuff is north of 10% abv. I normally don't mind that at all, but I was there to brewery hop. That place can put you down fast.
