I would put 3.5 as the over/under for both players.

And I would bet the over on Koepka.

And I would bet the under on McElroy.

Betting the under is free money. Especially for Rory.

I’d say Brooks gets one or two more and Rory maybe gets one. Rory hasn’t won a major in almost a decade and isn’t getting any younger. He has the skill set to win every tournament he enters in and will win a lot more tournaments in general but I think he’s in his own head with majors. That and his putting.

Hard to imagine Bruce doesn’t win a green jacket or 2. I think he’ll get 3 more.

Rory 1

I’d bet neither one wins more than one more.

Before today brooks hasn’t won a major in 4 years… Phil had Zero majors in 12 years, and if you would have been posting then you would have said it doesn’t have what it takes to win one, and now he has 6….

That doesn’t mean shite. It’s putting yourself in contention and then letting the chips fall where they may

Rory hasn’t won a major in 9 years. Brooks can win 10 if he stays healthy.

He’s got a lot of wear and tear on his body and mind and doesn’t seem like he’s fully engaged in the game anymore.

Everyone just gets so emotional. If in 2015 you asked how many majors would Rory have people would say 10!!

This generation is entirely about runs and then cold spells

Facts lacking the context of Brooks being hurt for 3-4 years.

It's hard to assume anything in this game, but if Brooks stays healthy he could easily win 8 or 9.

Rory will eventually win one or two more, IMO, but I don't think he'll ever go on some big tear again.

Koepka will compete in 27 Majors between now and age 40 assuming I did my math right. This assumes health and also no plandemic fricking up schedules again. Recency bias for sure given how he's done in majors this year, but an additional 2 seems pretty conservative to me.

I think you are correct about McIlroy, but I think you are way off on Koepka.

Koepka has at least 3 more majors in him. Probably more. He really peaks for the majors.

Koepka is a majors machine and I wouldn't bet against him. He could very well go on a Tiger roll the next few years, or maybe not. Neither would surprise me.

I think he has the game and the mind to get 4 more and be in the conversation with Watson, Player and Palmer although they'll have a huge advantage in regular tour victories.

As for Rory, I think he'll figure it out a couple more times and maybe get that elusive career grand slam with a win at Augusta. He didn't play well this week and ended up with a decent finish. He isn't going anywhere.
