His most believable character was in Dazed and Confused.

He was pretty good basically playing himself in Good Will Hunting. The Town was good as well.

And, yet, both could have been better without him.

Casey Affleck is great. I can't think of a role he's played that wasn't good.

Ben's best role IMO was Argo.

Outside of that, he should stick to directing.

After Stripes, MASH was right there for me. Maybe time has diminished it in pop culture, but I also see F Troop which is even older and so much more PC verboten.
