Aldi has name brand items.

There are a lot of knockoffs though

None of their non name brand substitutes have food dyes in them.

Shut up, rich boy.

Aldi is like if Wal-Mart and Trader Joes had a baby.

Lots of private label stuff that's really cheap and decent quality.

Yeah, I came here to say it's just a poor man's Trader Joe's, but this is better.

I actually wish there was one closer to me.

I think it's one of these buildings next to CC's on the map. Knowing Walk Ons, they'll probably have the space right on the corner or pretty close to it. But not sure.

Here's a more updated site map: Updated Shoe Creek Leasing Map - May 2023

Only announced tenants missing on the map are Jersey Mike's going next to CC's Coffee and Bank of Zachary going up as a stand alone building at corner of entrance (the 7,000 sq. ft space available).

The announcement of Walk On's (on Sullivan near Grand Settlement Blvd.) makes me think it'll be behind the Bank of Zachary or CC's Coffee building or across the street by Starbuck/Lit Pizza/Smoothie King and not actually part of the Shoe Creek development.

Still trying to figure out where the WalkOn’s is going to be

Best I can tell is behind the retail stores being built. Can't wait. I'll be able to walk home.

I love that store. Their aisle of shame, salsa, and $3.99 bouquet of flowers are great.

Carters didn't flood in 2016, the Winn Dixie did.

No, they don’t. They sell coke products, Oreos, Rao’s, V8, Chips Ahoy, Ritz, and other name brands.

It's a Trader Joe's if Trader Joe's was ran by the same people that run Spirit Airlines.

I tried the one in Metairie. It was ok. If you purchase Aldi brand it was cheap. The purpose of it. I didn’t care for some of it and am not in a rush to go back. I prefer Trader Joes if I’m looking for cheap.

I just went to Aldi today and over half the items I bought were brand name. I saved $3 on the same exact quiche I can get elsewhere.

And for you fatties out there, the party size packages of Oreos were a dollar less than a regular size at Wal-Mart.
