Tab tension projector screen

Will it move with a ceiling fan on max above it in the middle of the room about 2 to 4 + feet away ?
It would either be a floor rising tab tension screen or a pull down tab tension screen.
I know get a fixed frame screen. Can't yet.
I guess a folding screen is a option too. Would that not move?

Depends on the screen, the tension is pretty decent. In my living room there's no way my fan would move one, but i'm not sure how powerful your fan is. I'd think your ceiling fan would have to be pretty powerful for you to notice it.

It is a small room but not too small. 3 arm fan. I know that does not help. :(

I always just put matte black wood directly on the wall and painted my own. You can emulate a screen that costs 2k for 50 bucks. This requires a dedicated wall however. I've put in some tab tensioned screens but the fan wasn't directly above them. But it would have taken some serious window to blow them around.

Elite Screens off the ceiling. The bigger problem is the whole screen moving and not waves on the actual screen. The tabs keep it pretty tight. Never messed with floor mount, always electric on the ceiling. The bottom is weighted but with enough wind it would move slightly.

So in your opinion too the only screen that would not move, the material, is a fixed frame screen right?

I have an elite fixed frame. I could see a fan moving it without the frame and it hanging. Would probably annoy the shite out of me.

I forget which one. It's one of the acoustically transparent ones. Have had it a few years now.

Unless it's absolutely necessary I would keep the fan off when the projection screen is in use. In addition to possibly rippling the screen (articularly if the fan is on high) there is also a noise factor to deal with.

Ceiling fans really do not make much noise.
