This is not something to post if you don't have hard facts. Mental health is not a joke.

Belated upload, but it was nice to see Jayden Daniels & Malik Nabers supporting the ladies, sitting just a few rows behind the bench.

Duke giving SC all they can handle.

LSU making a late push for Sarah Strong with a new recruiting pitch. Now expected to announce this month. Apparently there was some initial concerns for Sarah about how she’d fit in with the current team. We have to Close!

Not sure what would be concerning. Sarah can play the 5, the 4, the 3, and even some 2.

Her minutes would be starting equivalent minutes because of all the different rotations she would fit in, much like Mikaylah can play (and has played) PG, SG, and Wing this season.

Yeah I tuned in when it was 55-55 in the 4th qtr. seemed like Duke didn’t score another point until garbage minutes while SC got a million free throws. But Dawn is dumb. No clue why Cardoso is not the first option on every play. She’s unstoppable.

Watching Texas beat UConn by double digits (at halftime). Texas will be a problem when they come to the SEC next year, with Booker and commits Carlton & Lee.

UCONN getting blown out. Give him under 8 McDonald's All Americans and Geno shuts it down.

I imagine other programs are pushing the envelope that everyone on this LSU roster could return and the impacts of playing time.

Cambridge though would be our PG next year if she came.

What was the late pitch LSU made with Sarah Strong?

Supposedly Strong is slightly hesitant about playing time with LSUs current roster and potential for Reese to come back with Morrow and Smith already. LSU is pushing that they would use her in the 3 and the 4 spot and give her freedom much like Morrow has this year and Mikaylah (as a freshmen).

Guess we will see soon. UNC has been the hot team as of late with her recruitment.

Well, certainly she'll get more playing time right away at UNC. However, with what we have right now and next season, her chances of winning an NCAA title are higher with us. We shall see..................................

Strong has a excellent shot but I'm kind of shocked she the #1 player in the nation, she can't guard wings and doesn't move well and doesn't play in the paint area. You take her If she come but she not a day 1 player like Williams is.

Yea… I’d hope she’s not so short sighted that her involvement as a freshman is the deciding factor. No matter what, she will be the best forward on the team as a sophomore.

Not sure if it would hurt or help, but they can easily point to smith to show that if you can play, you will get opportunities.

It’s a pleasant problem to have, but yes, as crowded as LSU’s roster is with great players, some blue chip recruits will be concerned about playing time.

Personally, I don’t think Angel Reese returns next season. I think most all of her endorsements will transfer to the WNBA. But even if we lose Strong over the playing time issue and LSU’s recruiting class this season is a little weaker I trust Mulkey’s recruiting long term. We’ll be fine.

And what may happen with Strong is that Bartlett gets processed. That might get her a few more minutes. But yes, she’d potentially be playing behind Reese, Morrow, Smith, and ADR next season, assuming ADR continues to develop.

But yes, she’d get plenty playing time if not starting her sophomore year. But this is a pleasant problem to have. If the top recruits in the country are worried about playing time, it means we have a loaded roster.

Kim will continue to get more than her share of top ten recruits.

Reese’s game at this point doesn’t translate to the WNBA. Not so sure she leaves after this year.

Sorry, I disagree completely. Just look at her recent USA 3x3 games (If interested, I linked them in this thread back in Sept.) There were multiple games where she was the best player on the court, and that was with 3xMVP Mikaylah next to her.

Strong played mostly in the paint but defended bigs, wings & guards with agility everywhere (on the halfcourt format). Her timely blocks, steals & rebounds helped seal wins, in addition to her smooth post moves, agile drives and feathery 3pt shot. She's a special all-around talent & easily the #1 prospect of this class.

Much like Mikaylah & Morrow are showing everyone you can't keep them off the court, Strong would make that statement, too, no matter who returns next year.

Sarah Strong USA highlights - fluid , versatile & unstoppable

Her presence and hustle along will punch her a spot, all she needs is someone to work with her on left- and right-hand hook, and maybe a up and under. She will be fine, she already said she knows she not the best player skill wise but what she brings to the game is bigger.

Has now entered the "lose to an instate directional school" phase of her tenure with a double digit loss to MTSU to drop to 4-5.
