You could fill a book with better LSU athletes than any woman.
I can remember when Professional Track was in its infancy.
The fastest woman on the planet would win her 100 meter event.
There was 6'5" 240 LB Shot Putter who would challenge her to a race at 100 meters.
She refused the challenge.

For basketball, and her recent success yes, but better than Burrow, Chase, Kevin Faulk, ODB, Fournette, Handful of LSU pitchers, Handful of track athletes? You have some track stars who won 3 championships in 4 years in the early 2000s

If Shaq said that, he must have hit his big arse head! I know she's friends with his daughter, and he's Uncle Shaq and all that to Angel Reese, but he's sucking up to the lil gurl way to much. I mean she isn't even the best female basketball player for LSU, that is Seimone Augustus who should have won a national championship when she was there.

Not even close.

He’s nuts. His rationale was that she delivered a national championship, but that is weak. He goes in to say that Burrow delivered one a couple of years ago, but she’s more athletic than Burrow. That’s also laughable. He also forgot that LSU has other national championships, and those teams were filled with great athletes. Heck, many teams that didn’t win championships had better individual athletes. Even if you just consider women, but Shaq specifically stated he wasn’t just limiting the statement to women, there may be better athletes. Heck, Ladazia Williams may not be a better player, but she may be just as good of an athlete.
