Exactly. Shouldn’t be hard to hit a button that would calculate the results of a tiebreaker. Just a couple brains behind this would work.

So we are heading to the semi’s or the final?

Gotta be gut wrenching for Michigan. But, Geaux Tigers. It seems to be a different event each meet that costs us.

Big ups to Jay because it’s been chaos for him this season and now he has lead this team to the National Semis.

It’s like the Final Four in basketball. Great accomplishment to get to nationals, but on day 1 they will go from 8 teams down to 4.
Nationals has two, four team pods for 8 teams total making it to nationals. The top 2 teams from each four team pod will advance to the championship day.

I love that Semifinal

Kentucky/Oklahoma/UCLA/Utah - Semi #1

Cal/Florida/LSU/Denver - Semi #2

No Utah, OU, or UCLA. They have a chance to make the final.

When did they change from the super six?

ETA: worked out great for us then. Denver advanced and Michigan didn't. We've already beaten Florida and Cal, right?

I don’t know if anyone can beat OU. Aren’t they the favorite every year

they have a legit shot to make the final four cause that second spot in the finals is up for grabs. They gotta be fearless. The experts left this team for dead back when Kiya went down.

They added back in the dropped scores. LSU didn’t drop a score below 9.8. Michigan dropped two falls. It wasn’t even close.

Toto ain't in Denver this time. Those final rotation beam scores were ridiculous compared to everyone else. Arenas' routine was every bit as good as their 9.9 plus scores.

Was too nervous to post during the meet. The wife had to get up and walk off during the 4th routine

Surprised that if KJ is healthy that she isn't on the floor. It worked out ok but I thin her ceiling on floor is higher than Elena, Alyona, and Chase.

Is Bryce injured? Definitely could use her on vault or possibly beam.

Also, nerves must really be kicking in with Aleah. I figured last week was just a one off and it kind of was, but this wasn't exactly the bounce back I was hoping for from her. If we are going to make it out of the semi's (which I think we can), she has to step it up.

I feel like the NCAA needs to tweak their rules on this. If Jade Carey, the best floor routine gymnast on the planet, is only doing a two pass, it shows that there is almost no reason to do a three pass routine.

I get that as long as you cover all your bases in two passes you are good but I think they need to either make there be more things needed to be done in two passes or maybe you only get a .995 start value. I don't know, something.

At this point, if you're able to complete the requirements in two passes, there's almost no reason to even do a third. If Haleigh Would have done a great third pass, what would her score have been? The exact same. She could have only hurt her score.
