Okay beam here is critical IMO. LSU made up ground and is in good shape after a good showing on bars. Just hit beam, be steady and we can get through to nationals on floor

Beam means everything. Michigan did not take advantage on beam although it was not bad (49.375). Waiting on Carey’s inevitable 9.975 but their other floor scores weren’t very high, only one 9.9

We are not sticking those 1.5 twist beam dismounts, which is something I’ve noticed 90% of top teams are absolutely drilling.

I greedily wanted a stuck dismount, would have been at least a 9.95 but she hit and got a good score

This is so close. Any two teams can end up going through. I’m happy we end on floor. Just hope we take advantage and let it roll.

They’re giving out 9.9s on bars like candy. OSU is going to put up big numbers there. Need to go 49.4 plus on floor

Can someone let me know what the judges are always taking on Alyona’s beam? When she hits, she hits, but yet never makes it to 9.90.
