Please someone put a base without the metal piece, that was close to an injury

Me too. That could’ve been tragic.

These kids fall down all the time. LSU asking for a lawsuit.

Can’t someone just run to Walmart or Academy and pick up a cheap kickball base?

Agree completely. I don't understand how LSU's Risk Manager allows them to use a real base.

Seriously terrible idea. Think of something else. Kids are clumsy.

That’ll probably be the last time we see any one race for the base. They’ll have to get a ball or stuffed tiger next game.

At a game two weeks ago and a kid dove across the line and nearly impaled himself. I didn’t see the kid tonight. He do the same thing?

Maybe so, but when I participated in a halftime contest at a basketball game, I signed a million papers and likely signed away any rights to sue. Not that I actually read them, which was a shame because I did manage to suffer a freak injury. Never seriously considered suing.

Yep, that could've been ugly. Looks like when he fell when he returned with the base that the base actually hit him in the chin.

My guess is people have sent information to LSU. The liability would be really bad.

I’m glad this was posted. I said the same thing when I watched the games over the weekend, but just assumed I was turning into a snowflake. Whew!

Been saying that since game 1. I can't believe they don't see the potential of a serious injury.
