A ride in the car works fairly well.

Some people have found success using a weighted fake hand and putting in on the kid’s back. Something about the weight comforts them. Mimics parent hand hugging. Fill a latex glove with rice and tie it off.

If you are using a formula that contains iron, switch to one without iron. Did this based on advice from a older friend when our youngest was doing the same thing and it worked. Told this to a few people through the years and seems to be a thing.

Sit with them for five minutes.
Carry them for five minutes.
Leave them alone in bed for five minutes

Go turn on the water in the shower & sit on the toilet or floor & snuggle him up. The sound of the water running always soothed my babies to sleep. Good luck. And remember this too shall pass.

Play music from Twinkle twinkle little rock star.
Also, I do not believe that your baby could voluntarily lift its head and roll over since day 1. Their brains are not formed enough to do that, and their muscles are not strong enough. Don't let your kid sleep with a blanket, boppy, or stuffed animal.
For another reason, the dust mites in those things can cause problems from day 1, which is worse in newborns.

Baby swing, our daughter lived in one for about 3 months….was only way to get her to let go and go to sleep.

Some babies are just shitty sleepers. It'll pass.

Set in car seat or on thick blanket on top of washer. Place your hand on baby's stomach or thigh (most babies like human contact). Set washer to spin cycle and repeat as needed.
DO NOT LEAVE CHILD UNATTENDED.

Rock him while you hold a blow drier on "low".

Did you try to give him a bath with some soothing essential oils?

Lol no kidding I think back and what I’d give to go back to the 3mo / newborn phase over my older kids.
Just like me, when will they talk?? Now they won’t stfu

Well welcome to what you signed up for….I got a 10 yr old, 2 yr old, and 1 yr old……it’s hell sometimes!!!! But it’s the best thing ever.
For a 3 yr old…..you tried taking him on a car ride. I went on many a rides to nowhere at 7,8,9PM with my first….the most recent two haven’t have any sleeping issues yet knock on wood

Crying himself to sleep is very bad
Wrong. False. It’s crucial at a certain age.
If they don’t learn to “self soothe” they’ll cry for years to come at bedtime.

It sounds silly and simple but swaddling mine helped tremendously. Simulates being wrapped in a womb or some sh!t. Anything that would give us all a few uninterrupted hours of sleep was a win.

Google toddler developmental ‘leaps’. He’s going through one. It will pass… sometimes it takes a couple days, sometimes maybe 7-10 days.

Likely overstimulated or over tired. Try putting him/her down sooner.

Mine did the same. He never slept during the day. What worked for us was a swing that automatically Sean’s him back and forth or we put him in one of those chair rockers that you buckle them into and let him chill.
