Sheesh, I’m getting killed in the comments haha

My daughter knows to not approach strangers, my wife gave him the ok to approach the car. I’m still proud of her no matter what you delinquents say:))

Your daughter is clearly sweet, and that's great; however, you are teaching her to support the homeless problem when the local governments are telling people NOT to give them anything since it keeps them on the streets and away from the shelters.

Ask your daughter if she will give up receiving any gifts for Christmas this year so that you can use that money to buy gifts for a family in need. This is the better charitable approach.

Don’t ask me. That’s what his recruiter told him. It’s been 35 years since I went though OSIT and that was for Armor, not infantry.

I tried to teach my 2 year old to shhh around little babies, it seemed like he took it very seriously

Now he runs up to babies in public and shushes them, so I think there was a disconnect

You didn’t want your son to go the ROTC route or OCS? Much better living conditions as an Officer.

I suggested that but he’s made up his mind.

This AM, my wife and her ran through the donut shop and there was a homeless man right near the drive thru. My daughter instantly saw him and motioned for him to come to car and asked him if he wanted something.

You kid called a fricking bum over and talked to him unsolicited and you're bragging about this?

You and I are different parents.

My boy Braxxxton was MVP of his fall ball team. He plays travel soccer, runs cross country, and was drafted to the senior league travel ball team.

I remember feeling that way. Then she became a teenager and got into high school.

Let’s follow up in about 10 years and see how you feel then.
