Ya'll are only reenforcing my wifes thoughts......and have me starting to agree with her 
Losing a night in Nassau sucks. We have 2 young kids so we are already pushing our limits of trying to squeeze 4 or 5 nights for this trip. Yes, flying out of MSY.
So if I can get her to agree to the small plane. It is as simple as calling Stella Maris airport and they'll help arrange us buying 2 seats on a small plane for same day service at our arrival?

Call them. They might already have a plane coming over from Nassau that day with seats available. If not, they will tell you options.
