So - in light of the new narrative the balloon potentially held explosives - could these booms have been China test deploying dummy EMPs over our missile silos?
That would explain the booms AND why the balloon didn’t crash, but rather continued to fly across the US to the Atlantic.
Would also add to the trepidation of the US to shoot it down near population centers.
