Let’s look at this a different way. All 5 officers are black. What if all 5 are charged with murder. Will there be riots because black cops are being charged while historically white cops are not.

I can see that line of thought but 6 pm? Right as darkness is descending on a city that’s already on edge and ready to ignite? Why not release it Saturday during the day since most of the downtown would be closed down then?

I was thinking release it at 6am tomorrow. Or maybe even Sunday morning so people can go to church and pray for change instead of riot. ??

How easy was it to make people believe that Kyle R shot and killed black people simply by leaving the detail out.
People will want to believe it racism, so the media will leave some details out and let the ignorant make things up. I do agree with you though and wish it were easier for people to see.

It does seem like strange timing. The only other news I’ve seen also drop (that maybe they’re hoping is overshadowed) is the Pelosi body cam footage. I feel like a Monday morning may have been easier to control than a Friday evening. I’ve got no clue what their reason is but I am sure they have one
