Ok, so I don’t hate the track as much as I thought I would. The last corner before start finish is pretty sporty. Reminds me a bit of Copse except the wall is right on the track.

Yeah, the camera angle for the last corner is tight as well.

Agreed. Feel better about the quality of this track/race now.

Fans will get $15 for their loss and lawyers will get 10 million.

Someone tell me why VER should catch a penalty for diving into turn 1 (I believe) and impeding Ocon.

The next time verstappen gets a penalty for something like that will be the first since he became the golden boy.

Perez gets chopped off in Q2, again, you know, because RedBull is the most dominant car ever.

You conveniently leave out that Red Bull parked him with 4+ minutes left in qualifying, in a desperate attempt to continue making your shitty, completely wrong point

Just needed someone to spill a coffee or something hot on themselves to sue for millions to help prevent creation of street circuits

Disaster? Hardly. It’s a class action lawsuit. Hundreds of those are files weekly.

Race will go on.

On the Aurospiort podcast Alex Kalonokus(sp) said that they were randomly forcefully checking occupied hotel rooms for firearms. I know I’ll never go to Vegas now

considering anemic ticket sales, escalating track/paddock construction costs that exceeded initial projections and a class action lawsuit , I don’t see how this race lasts beyond the 3 year initial contract.

history is riddled with the graves of over hyped street races in this country that eventually failed

I understand wanting the spectacle of it, but we have some really great racetracks in this country that could easily be adapted to work well for F1. Just use them.

In an interview Toto was asked about what happened at P1/P2 being a black eye on the event and he basically responded with a “stfu” and that this event is actually setting a new bar in a lot of areas/world class. I don’t know if he’s saying that bc F1 wants him to say that but it seems like it’s actually going a lot better and nicer than people are making it out to be.

I actually kind of like the track. At this point, F1 not giving Ferrari some slack over something they had no control over looks worse than the actual track malfunction.

It's internet culture. Outrage gets dramatically more clicks that positivity, so that's what people write.

People will look back and question if the technical advancement brought forward by the Information Age was worth the harm to humanity that social media and the internet wraught.
