she couldn't answer driver of where she lived.

that was before she "consented" to each of the rapers when was asked multiple times.

this is textbook fricking drunk rape.

this is like saying, a hitch hiker willingly gets in the truck with a truck driver. the truck driver kills the hitch hiker. not murder...

To get away from “lsu crimes” you’d have to send your kid to college in like Utah or Vermont

The guys were from Walker, not Baton Rouge… that’s why it’s completely unrelated.

All of the tigerland bars are like this except Fred’s so that isn’t going to help much.

yes - but reggie's is exceptionally egregious, or at least it was when i was going there.

i ordered drinks there with no fake id, x on my hand, and didn't even know the bartender. that wasn't happening at the other bars. also i don't remember nearly as many obvious high schoolers (<18) at mike's, jl's, the house either.

Nah, but a girl with a bac of over .3 would be pretty goddamned obvious.

BAC is an important to acknowledge, but not everyone handles their BAC the same way. It may not be as obvious as you think. Everyone does not metabolize alcohol the same way.

The only thing I think we can all agree on is that one should know when someone looks plastered vs. buzzed vs. sober.

It would not shock me to learn behind closed doors Tate has tried to address this with the city and the City basically responded with a vindictive, retaliatory response. It seems that the leadership of baton rouge is that petty these days. The mayor and chief police want to project the solidified front that crime is not the city's fault, and we all know that they punish anyone who doesn't tote that party line

If stuff like that happens, there's usually at least some quiet "chatter" about it. The fact that there's not here is probably telling. Having the guy we have in the Governor's mansion is likely not helping either.

There's a lot of potential for influence and action here, with a lot of people obviously doing little more than sitting on their hands - at best.

Wonder how this will shape Tigerland. You’d think sororities may avoid Tigerland after this which would eventually frick the whole business model up. Even if temporary.

Completely unrelated besides the fact that it happened in Baton Rouge

It’s time for lsu to stand up in a public way to the city—leaders of Baton Rouge, the police and that worthless governor. I’ve personally sent replies to the LSU foundation that I will not donate to the university in any way again until major shifts take place in the direction of the university. It’s sad to me to see the nose dive lsu has taken since my time there. I know my donations weren’t much in grand scheme, but I know very well they’re hearing that from folks with much deeper pockets than mine.

LSU has lost their identity.

You can frick right off trying to paint this as a date rape story. This was more kidnapping and gang rape than date rape.

A female with .3 bac isn't going to be tipsy or buzzed. She'll be plastered.

John Landry own's JL's, Mike's, and Reggie's. After the civil suits are over, I can imagine he would have to sell off those bars to pay restitution.

GTFO. You don't have to know someone's BAC to know the difference from date rape.

No one has point blank stated that, you’re right. But it’s been implied several times, thinly veiled at best.

Female 0.37 BAC DUI Arrest

This is a good example of the condition that Madison Brooks was in. Remember, Madisons 0.319 BAC was tested at death, which was at least an hour after the rapes.
