Pardon my ignorance but does
this mean he's on "life support" as we speak?

Intubation could be done more for a precaution/treatment and not b/c it's required to keep him alive. I believe it's not uncommon after a cardiac arrest.

Didn't they take the air part out? Just pump pump pump the chest?

The pumping of the chest is where the magic really is

Random place I’m in, especially the gym , for whatever reason I think. I wonder who else is cpr certified and could help out if someone needed it

Also: I keep a red emergency kit in my car if gloves: first aid kid: saline solution/cpr masks/

I hope others maybe do this as well, you never know when you stumble upon some scene where you’re the only one prepared . I hope I never have to use mine

But you, me, or anyone on this board could be next to have a cardiac event and it could very well be because of a mandated shot.

You might be right, but we can talk about that tomorrow or on another board. The focus should be on Damar Hamlin right now.

With the quick reaction I'm hoping he wasn't without oxygen for long.

You’re not self absorbed, but it’s all you can talk about tonight.

Bro, look in a mirror.

Then you must be dumb, because he's making perfect sense...unless you just hate Ryan Clark.

How long can the brain go without blood flow until you see permanent damage to it?

He actually had a heart beat back early on. Effective cpr holds off damage for awhile. Stable vitals is good as news as we can expect for now. Not breathing on his own is expected.

He is saying the teams need to be in the right frame of mind before going back on the field.
