Made a CRUCIAL play in the Bama game running down their receiver after busting a coverage. Hustle play that turned a TD into a FG and that for sure made a difference.

If he left where would he get picked.

And he technically has 2 more years of eligibility because of the COVID year.

But he's more than likely gone after next year.

This is great news imo. Like Ward, Burns has improved greatly since he's been here, and has on balance been a steadying influence in the secondary. This decision is best for both sides.
