Dude had so much talent yet it was wasted on a poor QB. Stop trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shite. This is on BK and him bringing in a QB that isn’t going to take advantage of the best skill set Louisiana has to offer. He ain’t at ND anymore and he needs to realize that. Get a QB who can get WRs involved.

Seriously, how can you stand yourself?
You're a walking crap pile of negativity and wild arse opinions.

You cant put all of his lack of production on the qb. He had a good amount of drops.

Here's my guess:

1, Boutte flunked a course, making him immediately ineligible.

2, Kelly/LSU announce Boutte intends to enroll in spring semester (and make up missing course credits).

3, Boutte, who has a newborn baby in the house, discovers that he won't be getting NIL money while he sits out bowl game and spring semester.

4, Boutte's family urges him to call that agent-guy back and make himself available for NFL Draft.

It was probably that simple. And it likely had nothing to do with BK's rules or Jayden Daniels' pass-target preferences.

The simplest explanation is usually the correct one, right?

he's not the only one to ever have a new born. it's good that he's gone. the offense won't suffer without him.

What kind of reply is that? Of course he isn't. But it's probably best for him and his family that he goes pro and gets paid. Some of y'all are frickin crazy.

Kayshon got fat and sucked anyway. He had about as many drops as catches this year.

Are people really sad about him leaving?

He looked seriously overweight and slow this year. I’d be surprised if he was even picked in the first 3 rounds. Dude has absolutely lost it

Idk how you think this is "seriously overweight"

Bet he gets picked before the mid way point of the 2nd round.

Exactly.. they’re has to be more to the story.
It wasn’t that he decided to declare, it was the odd way that it was announced. The vague statement about missing the bowl game, but mentioned being “enrolled in school” already felt off.
Best of luck - he lost a lot of support when he flirted with Bama the second time to leverage even more NIL money. His lack of loyalty earned our lack of loyalty. Moving on…

Poster on paid site said he didn’t even inform the staff thatches as returning when he made that decision and that it almost cost us getting Aaron Anderson.

So many passes dropped of the hands of Boutte this year.

The most likely scenario is that Boutte sought advice after the SEC championship, and was told that his lackluster season(don't forget, Boutte predicted about 1200 yards and 16 touchdowns for himself) cost him his early first round pick and knocked him back into early 2nd round, costing him $15-20 million.

Maybe his grades suffered and he just had enough and wanted to jump. Maybe he learned a little more about the WR draft class in 2023.

Good luck to him.

Kayshon had a great freshman season and we are all expecting great things from him this year. He had a down year and now he is leaving for a reason only he knows. His draft stock has taken a giant tumble. I think he is getting bad advice. But best of luck to him. Someone else will fill the void.

I think he knew he would blow it up and be a top 10 pick if we had a better passer next year. JD5 will win us about 8-9 games but he can't pass well enough to win us a Natty.

LSU didn’t announce he was unavailable but enrolled because he told them he was going pro.

This...LSU announce Boutte is still enrolled buy isn't available for the bowl game. Clear he was suspended. So then Boutte says alright I'm out.
