Stop taking the meds and internalize your feelings like a man.
Tried that but i enjoy spending time with my family more than being a ball of rage, anger and pure unadulterated hate. I also enjoy sleeping in my own house and in my warm bed which was at risk unless i took immediate actions to begin rectifying my issues. Thank you for the advice though.

I had the same issues for which I took Lexapro for a long time. It helped for sure but eventually I noticed that I became complacent about a lot of things. I decided to get off and spend a couple of months in targeted therapy to try to figure out the source of my anger. Turns out in my case it was misbehaving children, so wife and I agreed to adopt a stricter parenting style and it has done wonders for them and I am antidepressant free. I suggest that if you start to notice this in yourself that you do the same: it's entirely possible that the source of your own anger has moved on or changed and you just won't have the same rage you used to. Good luck.

Do you drink? That really matters with SSRI treatment. Be completely honest with your doctor and make sure you have a good one.
And I hope you are seeing a cognitive behavioral therapist.
