/\ THIS /\ is the salient point - it WAS presented at an 'existential' pandemic - there is no way to immediately IGNORE that without definite proof of a con job.
NOBODY was willing to go that far.
HOWEVER, the entire logical world should have noted the 'extraordinary political convenience' this pronouncement would have - ESPECIALLY when the first things the 'beneficiaries' of this potential civilization-destroying event was to begin planning on how they could EXPLOIT the circumstance (never let a crisis go to waste).
It was totally obvious to me by early May that election skullduggery was at work here, and the election law exceptions in order to "protect the vulnerable" was nothing more than an advice plan to steal the election.
I think Trump was in a bind - he HAD to show leadership in ramming thru the vaccine development - which he did with WarpSpeed - all the while the democrats insisted 'we won't take it if Trump gets any credit for it" - but as soon as the election was safely STOLEN, they all began to DEMAND it as if it was THEIR product.

It means he is a threat to people who I consider the enemy. And I disagree that he failed
for sure - he only failed in not being totally prescient. - good fortune tellers are hard to come by. CERTAINLY nobody who was supporting any DEMOCRAT during that sad tenure should be calling Trump a 'failure' - the Dems fell flat on their fact in terms of responsibility and productivity - all they SUCCEEDED at was stealing an election.

They were hardly loyal to Trump
this is a sad truth - Trump's major weakness was not knowing just how deep the swamp was and how intertwined the GOPe was with the dem progstains. He had traitors in his midst from the git-go. It is amazing to me that he got as much good done as he was able to accomplish, dragging all that traitorous entourage thru the swamp with him.

There was obviously opposition to the covid shitshow I never said otherwise but at the very beginning nobody knew how serious it was
But we have reason to work with, right? How reasonable is it to confront an unknown with "let's burn the f'n country down?"
quote:
not like Trump had unilateral say in literally everything.
Nobody is suggesting he did. But he was the president, right? He held the position of most influence in the country. He also had about half the country that, after two bogus impeachments and all the BS he had to deal with from the media and the Left, would have walked through walls if he asked them. He could have led us through Covid, and possibly come out stronger than he was going in - and he was pretty strong going in, if you remember.

It means he is a threat to people who I consider the enemy.
You're mistaking "threat" for "hate." The Left does not fear Trump. Why should they? He gave them nearly everything they demanded. But they hate that guy in a weird/passionate way. They'd rather see the country burn than have him run it perfectly, bringing prosperity to all.
They hate him. The do not fear him.

So Trump appointed literally every person in there?
Why are you arguing points I didn't make?
I said Trump was the chief executive of the executive branch. I think you understand the difference.
Elon didn't hire all the assholes at Twitter, did he? But do you question whether Twitter is now run like Elon wants it to?
quote:
They were hardly loyal to Trump
Which calls into question his intelligence. He cratered the economy and his own reelection by following the advice of people that hated him. How smart is that?
