Ron DeSantis Military Service You Probably Didn't Know About. He was a Navy Lawyer.

I thought he was a pilot(I can't figure out why I thought that), but turns out he was a Tom Cruise "I want the truth" legal advisor to Navy Seals team. Also was on a bench
I mean.....military service, but looks like a very safe non-combat position.

Ahhh, that's why I thought he was a pilot. He was cos-playing one. I'm starting to think our boy is a phony.

Also, low key way to diss your actual service as a military attorney. But rather than lean on any of those reference points he’d rather get dressed up in tough guy regalia and jump in a fighter jet.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that a political candidate tried to toughen up his image by cosplaying as a warrior. Mike Dukakis famously had a photo op in a tank during the 1988 presidential election. Referred to as the worst campaign photo op ever, it… did not go well for the candidate. And the internet is making the comparison.

I really don’t care what his job was in the military, what I care about are his actions as a politician and the words that come out his mouth.

Ivy league, navy lawyer/pros, congressman, governor.
As congressman he voted in line with party RINOs.
I thought maybe the guy was a decorated fighter who put his life on the line. But then again, McCain is an ugly example of how a combat "vet", albeit and unsuccessful one can be such a crap leader.

I resent that approach in terms of accepting that politician will be a phony. They shouldn't be applying for a job in such case.
Rand Paul isn't a phony and neither was Ron Paul. Jim Jordan isn't a phony. MTG is real.
We have genuine politicians and statesmen there. I don't want a career politician who'll tow the uniparty line and kill the populist movement.

Officers only have 3 choices, ground, air, or law. I’m a trump guy and veteran and his service doesn’t bother me. If he is exaggerating, he should stop.

Listen skippy, because my IQ is probably two deviations above yours and I'm rarely wrong about people, even those I never personally meet, I'm probably a good judge of character to at least consider as a source.
Believe what you like, but I see a RINO career politican who copycatted Trump's schtick. But that's not his roots.
He's had a federal government paycheck his whole adult life.

Most here are genuinely vetting and sharing our gut instincts. I don't even think they will allow Trump to run and don't see why he bothers being surrounded and gas lit to the point of his home raided by the FBI.
I don't think much of anyone that sits by and doesn't seem to blink an eye about a former Presidents home raided by the FBI. But far worse-uses it to get another step up a ladder by his silence. This is what I can't get over-this isn't a regular primary.
Despise Trump all day but we are watching our nation on the brink. This isn't the time for the GOP to pitch a fit protecting their swamp.
