The game against A&M was just bizarre.

In every game, except for the cupcakes and Tenn, LSU has competed so hard. It was really bizarre to see the team with, what appeared to be, a lack of motivation. Especially in a game that was so important.

I'm not complaining about the season because this has been one of my favorite LSU seasons. This game was just a real stinker.

It was the strangest lack of effort I have ever seen.

I feel ya. Never been so mad from any football game in my life. Smashed a beer bottle in my hand while sober. Cuts are healing up good.

Ran out of steam and depth. It was there against Arkansas and UAB as well. Just didn’t impact the outcome

Depth wins games like that. They had more. We couldn’t stop the run, which means they weren’t going to stop running the ball, which means they were going to control the clock. That limited Jaden Daniels to fewer opportunities and drives. We probably could’ve won that game with two or three more drives earlier.

Honestly, it’s only the second LSU game I’ve ever turned off. The players appeared not to be trying, and the coaches appeared to follow suit.

It was really frustrating how we seemed so disinterested.

Think they are just tired. Majority of the defense have had to play 50-60 snaps in every game just because of lack of depth. Eventually they run out of fuel. Lack of depth finally got to us.

I totally agree. And it doesn't get any easier next week.

You do understand that, based on what was riding on the outcome of that game, this makes absolutely zero sense.

Sure do. That’s why I turned it off. It was too frustrating.

I thought they competed and played hard but the our defensive players were being dragged around by their jerseys and we didn’t give it to the RBs enough and couldn’t throw it. A&M played their best game of this year by far. They just couldn’t muster a response to adversity in that game.

Defense has been on all year long and saved us in most games. They slipped up and offense couldn’t go into a shoot out after that scoop and score. Just absolutely soul crushing after that and then 3 and out

I was there....and I noticed immediately, the lack of energy when we took the field before the start of the game.

The defensive effort was so out of character, for the first time I questioned if the players were paid to lay down.
Of course I know it's not the case. But still, it truly looked like they wanted to give 5T7 a win.

It also didn’t help that atm played a perfect game. They didn’t make any big mistakes, and they made some big plays they wouldn’t normally make.

the game came down to one play, the fumble return for td by ags. if Daniels hands it off, we get the first, drive for go ahead td, keep momentum and win the game. the team was deflated after that extreme momentum shift.

My TV decided it knew what was best for me and its survival and didn’t record the second half even though I had it set for the game time plus hour and a half. So I missed the bullshite calls, fumble etc. That’s what you call a smart TV.
