re: Is LSU, Texas A&M's biggest rival? 4-7 team, no chance of a bowl game and a packed house

Most any team playing a top 5 opponent will have a packed house. Yea they were supposed to be dangerous after 2020 too. Jimbo is Les 2.0. They will continue to underwhelm.

Regardless of head-to-head record, we are in direct competition in conference AND recruiting. Players that choose them over us will see us as rivals. I really don't see how this board didn't understand this going into the game.

90% full for a team that had won 4 games is impressive. That's about 60% more than would be at Tiger Stadium if it were the opposite circumstances.

I was impressed at how they showed up and still had a good time prior to the game given the season they had.

They're only dangerous when your coach and team failed to do their jobs. That's why LSU lost that game.

Daniels, Kelly, Denbrock, etc. All failed to do their jobs adequately in a game that should have been a smooth win.

I have a feeling we'll see more than a few stupid losses under Kelly. His offense is never good enough to overcome a bad defensive game. He runs a terrible offense.

So much this. Anyone who has watch ND knows this.

Everyone on this board has taken so much copium about that loss. It was not on Daniels, it's on CBK. The defense was awful. The offense was awful. Take a look at everyone's predictions of the score. Hardly any were close. A #5 ranked team doesn't lose to a 4-7 scrub team, unless the coach is a joke.

Reminds me when LSU played TU in last game of the season. Game should have been moved elsewhere in schedule.

There were lots of empty sections in the stadium.

Do they sing about LSU? Is their hand gesture about LSU?

I mean they don’t like us just like we don’t like them it’s a mutual thing. They probably hate Arkansas a little more than LSU. Just like we hate Bama and Florida more.

such an odd fanbase. They would rather beat LSU than be playing in a bowl game. They wont be able to hide much longer from playing Texas. They most definately are scared to death of Texas and try to make LSU a heated rivalry, how else can you explain horns down by their fans to all opponents.

It really wasn’t “heated” until fisher came along. Then the bush league shite started. Oklahoma fans are just as bad about horns down. They’re both obsessed which is weird considering UT isn’t some blue blood powerhouse. They’re a good program all time but not like tGoat or anything.

It doesn’t take much to be better than UT is what I’m getting at.

Well I mean there isn’t shite else to do in college station so I’m not surprised the stadium was packed.

Are you implying that because we have more to do in Baton Rouge we shouldn't care as much as they do? I always wondered why people said this like it makes us look better.

And College Station is a typical college town. There's plenty to do there.

They’re called a cult for a reason.

So we should mock them for supporting their team too much?

I think of them more as an annoying pest than a rival

If Aggies are serious about being rivals with LSU they need to change their fight song to be about the Tigers.

Texas A&M seems to hate us. Jimbo is 3-2 against us which I think really gets them going. I would say LSU hates A&M the week of the game like most of our “rivals”. It’s been forced on us with the last game of the year. I would prefer Ole Miss or Arkansas or Auburn as the last game of the year.

I don't think LSU would have packed the house in the same situation. Goes to show A&M believes we are their biggest rivals and we barely know they exist.
