I really don’t think bama is playoff quality this year. Plenty of more deserving teams this year

As far as the CFP….BAMA 2022 has no path going forward…..they are done for this year….but they should be in the NY6.

No they do not. The only reason we have a chance is the cache we would get from beating #1 and winning the SEC. Bama does not have the opportunity to do either.

If chaos happens:

TCU loses
Michigan loses
Clemson loses
LSU loses
USC loses

Bama is in

1. Georgia 13-0
2. Ohio St 13-0
3. Alabama 10-2
4. ACC/PAC12/BIG12 Champ

It’s pretty likely Michigan, LSU and USC lose, not too sure if Clemson and TCU will drop one in these last few weeks.

I know man. I am not gonna lie. I am worried. I don't trust tcu to stay undefeated and I don't trust usc to stay undefeated. In fact I think notre dame will beat them and I think they will lose to Oregon in the championship game. Also I am worried that clemson will lose to south carolina. With all of that happening I could see bama slipping in into the playoffs at number 4

If USC loses to ND, LSU loses to Georgia, Clemson loses in the ACC championship game, TCU loses to Texas or Kstate, and Ohio State routes Michigan, what the hell do you do?
1. Georgia
2. Ohio State
3. Alabama
4. Oregon

Yes they are. You can't ever get rid of them. The media loves them too which doesn't help.

This. He's absolutely correct. That is the bottom line, no way past this. Not even for Bama.

Even the Bama homers last night on set said they had no chance.

Once the Playoff system expanded to four teams, it was almost a guarantee that Bama would be in it every year. For some reason, the people who pick these teams like Bama and Saban in the Playoffs. Maybe for TV ratings? I don't know.

So, sure, even with 2 losses, Bama still has a small chance. This should surprise nobody.

How about not punish teams for winning their division and playing in conference championships?

Alabama’s signature wins?

Texas and OleMiss

Michigan?

PennSt and Illinois

Michigan would have 1 Conf Loss, Bama still has 2 -

Not happening.

1 loss TCU
2 loss pac 12 champ (even if USC loses the pac 12 championship, a pac 12 team would still be in, or two loss Oregon.)
1 loss OSU/Michigan
1 loss acc champ

All get in over Bama

This is a great simulator

LINK

The highest I could get bama was 34%

But that’s with TCU, USC and LSU losing this weekend.

Even in that scenario I would think the final four would be.

Georgia
Ohio State (I picked them to win in this scenario)
Clemson
Michigan or TCU (big 12 champ)

Bama may be 5
2 loss Oregon or USC could be 5

Again the best scenario for bama would have them in consideration for #4 against
Michigan (if they lose to OSU)
Pac 12 champ (Oregon or USC)
1 loss TCU

Bama is in consideration for the playoff but way to much has to happen for them to make it.

They have an outsiders chance a lot would have to happen, but if we win out they are very likely done.
