Last night at my wife's family was relatively drama free except for one thing. Tuesday night my four year old stayed at my In laws. My MIL decided my son was having trouble pooping (he doesn't) and gave him castor oil about two hours before Thanksgiving dinner. Well, what we were left with was a shitty situation. He crapped himself at dinner, while sleeping, and this morning. Monster, runny dumps. And since he is potty trained he is really embarrassed but he wasn't used to blowouts like this. Also, for some reason my wifi at the house is out. So now I am dealing with a whiny four year old with a sore arse that can't watch Paw Patrol because the streaming services are out. Happy Thanksgiving.

Was up drinking bourbon with my dad late last night. Around 230AM, brother in law came through the living room after being in bed since 10 or so.
Dude just paced around the kitchen for about 10 minutes or so. He’s not a big drinker so I didn’t bother asking him if he wanted a drink, so I blurted out to him, ‘Hey Tony! What do ya need?’
Tony needed a plunger and a mop because he clogged the shitter pretty well.

Getting psyched up for the 31st annual Thanksgiving tradition at my inlaws' house where the sound on the TV is muted all day regardless if we're eating at the table or not. The holiday rule in their house is the TV stays muted all day and everyone has to watch all the football games through delayed closed caption streams!

It was going to just be my wife and kids today so we decided we weren’t going to make anything traditional for Thanksgiving except the pies. It’ll be grilled chicken, sausage and rice dressing.
MIL invited herself and FIL over last minute because they decided not to drive to where the big family gathering is.
She is going to be pissed when she finds out there is no turkey, dressing, etc. My wife didn’t tell them out of spite for being mooches (they didn’t offer to bring anything and usually don’t) and inviting themselves over (“guess what we are doing for thanksgiving! Coming to your place!”)
