as a father with 2 boys and no plans on a third kid, this hypothetical doesn't really apply to me.
But...I feel like having a thot daughter would be the source of more headache and heartache than a gay son. Watching my boys grow up...my thoughts on having a gay son have certainly changed. I can't imagine my kids feeling pressured to live a life that they don't want to live, so if either end up being gay...so be it.

THOT daughter for sure
I'm not disowning a gay son, but THOTs can turn it around. Meaning that you might be able to shepherd them back into what you hoped for them. You can of course love and guide a gay son and have all sorts of joys/successes, but there is no chance of your life ever resembling what you hoped/prayed for. Some might not care about that, especially in the current age, but I do.

Could the gay son just be a normal acting dude that happens to be gay? I look at it like this: the thot is going to make too many grandkids I'd have to raise. This versus no grandkids except maybe like an Asian one that my normal acting gay son and his also normal gay partner might adopt who's super skilled at math...
It's a tough decision but the thot creates a lot more problems, socially and financially.

My wife's family has a situation almost exactly like this. They are from a small town just outside of Alexandria, and think and act just like you would expect.
Gay son is a successful NICU nurse at Parkland Hospital in Dallas
