I've been waiting for someone to say this. Did Denbrock take RB screen out of the playbook?

I'm not a big X and O's guy but even I thought the SAME thing during the game. Emery scored vs Florida and Bama on well-timed passes out the backfield.

Screens would have been very effective last Saturday.

We never challenged the flats. Late in the game JD5 had opportunity to run but he chose to hand it off. I still don’t understand why we didn’t use the flat area with Mason Taylor or another pass catcher.

Game would not have been close had they ran the ball especially in first half. They were getting chunks at a time.

exactly. Also, why didn't Kelly tell Denbrock to roll Daniels out of the pocket. The straight drop back passes clearly weren't working.

Get Daniels outside the pocket to throw or run. Call screens. Run some misdirection.

I mean, this is basic stuff that we all saw on TV. Why didn't Denbrock see it?
