Grown men whining about fake "internet" stars is pathetic

I could not care less. In fact, I wish they would drop them to three stars to motivate them.

I get it and it is ridiculous but finish with a top 5 class and there isn't enough of a difference to worry about if you have the right coaching in place.

Some of those guys were fives for a certain service but not composite. Jalen brown heard and Sampson weren’t composite 5s when we signed them. Ask captain crown. He keeps up with it more than I do but i know for a fact that some of those guys went up after signing with us

Here’s the deal. Stars matter to an extent. However, with these guys that are right on the cusp, they all could be the same quality as five stars. What we should be more preoccupied with is fit and character. If Kelly takes Jalen Brown, that means he fits and his character passed the test. That’s just as critical as raw ability. We could take another LB (for example), only because he’s a five star but that wouldn’t benefit us if he doesn’t fit the mold of what House is looking for. Or could take a three star LB instead like Brathwaite that does fit the scheme and improve their potential. Stars don’t make the recruit in every sense. They matter, but not when comparing recruit #32 vs #42 if that makes sense.

It doesn’t matter once your “4 stars” beat the hell out of their “5 stars” on the field. The NFL doesn’t look at star ratings.
