This episode was fantastic. Daemon helping Viserys onto the throne was a fantastic close to their relationship. The entire scene of Viserys coming into the throne room and putting everyone in their places was great. He had one last stand to put things right, and thought he did it

I’m not completely up to date anymore but from what I know we don’t really know what clutch Danny’s eggs came from and they’re likely later than this but I could be wrong.

It's exciting for me that this is still the prequel to the real part of the story. This is very much the setup to the big stuff the same way everything prior to Robert's death was setup in OG GOT.

My only real issue is the actors they picked to play Aegon and Aemond. Before the previous time jump we had Aegon the tall and skinny young teen that was oblivious to everything and just wanted to goof off and drink. Then you had Aemond the quiet and short one that got his face slashed and became someone totally different after getting the dragon.
Now Aemond, while still sadistic, is the tall and skinny one and Aegon is the short one and turned into a douchebag.
I hate the flip flop and it makes me constantly have to think of their names besides the obvious eye patch on Aemond. They should’ve just switched the characters and kept up with one being taller than the other.

This episode was superb. Best of the series.

Want to preface by saying this show has exceeded my expectations and is appointment television every Sunday night. But…
1) I think the hype for this episode before it aired made it seem somewhat underwhelming to me when it was being called possibly one of the greatest episodes in this GoT/HoTD universe. It was awesome but I found last week to be better and certainly not quite in the conversation with the top GoT episodes
2) i hate the idea of the Dance of Dragons being from a “misunderstanding”
Also, are they making viserys & Alicent’s daughter out to be autistic? Possibly from incestuous bloodlines or is she just a little weird. I know it’s said she’s a dreamer but this was the first time I felt the writers were maybe pushing her to be a little more special
