Why wasn't the New Mexico game shown on mainstream TV?

The SEC Network has an additional channel. Can it happen again? Is LSU so poorly regarded? Is our communications department doing anything about this?

It was a predicted blow out vs a not very well regarded g5 school…. Doesn’t seem that hard to understand why there wouldn’t have been much interest outside of strictly LSU fans.

Slow down and ask the question again.

Every sec team is obligated to have one game a year on SEC+, last week was ours

You mean cable. Cable networks don’t pay for the programs generated but streaming services at times. Mainly because they feel sponsors would not be interested. So essentially it wasn’t an important enough game, and if we keep winning that will change. If we don’t…it could definitely happen again.

Every team in the SEC gets one game a year on SECN+/ESPN+. It doesn't matter how good a team is or how well they are performing. Even UGA and Bama gave their one game a year on streaming only.

Not very long ago this game would have been radio only. We now have access to every game on TV. I don’t understand your question
