I would like to join the party. I have been watching women's gymnastics since the 84 Olympics. Been following LSU for awhile now. Just missed buggs last year here. A lot of people don't understand the hours and training these girls go through or the injuries. All of them are supreme athletes.

LSU is pushing very hard for Mackenzie Estep. That will be an interesting recruitment

I hope they get her. That would be so huge! Maybe the best recruit for them in a while. If Nina Ballou commited also this class could really be special.

This would be a huge get. Who are the other schools we are competing against?

RE: "When Conner Mc Clain hits campus"?

Konnor is trying for the Paris Olympics and most likely will not come to LSU until the fall before the 2025 season or later.

Pretty much all of the top 10 programs. Everyone is clawing to get a visit from her but she has expressed interest in LSU which is good.

LSU has some visits though lined up for this fall during football season. Nina and Estep especially are the two that on the top of the board for this 25 class.

I still remain very confident/optimstic on LSU's positioning with Nina Ballou being a tiger when its all said and done. Florida is still one of the biggest challengers for her and UCLA is pushing hard right now

I saw that she went to LSU and Arky camps last year so that’s got to be a good sign. Yes what I’ve noticed is football season is a huge recruiting tool for gymnastics. And that’s great news about Ballou

Z has 4 visits set LSU is one of them and they are a real possibility for her. she was quite impressed with the facilities. She comes from an extremely gifted athletic family and wants to win a national championship. Her mother is from small town south arkansas and Z is quite familiar with the hot south lol!!

Getting her and Ballou would be huge, there are a few other L10's that are in the mix but no doubt they really want to land these two big fish

Sophia Diaz is another high quality one but some rumblings with Florida right now. If I'm not mistaken she goes to Kayla Dicello's old club

I literally have chills!!!

Please let everyone get and remain healthy. Can you imagine just having Finnegan, Bryant, Kiya and Konnor all on the same team and all healthy?! Those 4 could conceivably do all around and we would just need to find one solid routine to round them out. The flip side to that is Jay can play with lineups and rest people. This team has so much potential!!!!

The question - will Jay test his depth? But for fun, let’s do some lineups - not in lineup order.

Vault: Johnson, Bryant, finnegan, schoenherr, jillian(?) Brock - leave schennikova out of it or just for depth? KJ if she can get the double instead of Jillian?

Bars- schoenherr, Jeffrey, Cowan/Dunne, Johnson, Bryant, finnegan (just for the love of good let Aleah do clear hip to double tuck for a dismount) leave schennikova solely for depth here unless you figure out the dismount (as I have said before I hate that for her, but her scores have no business being in next year’s lineup)

Beam: omg what a beam team we could have. McClain, finnegan, Johnson, Bryant, beard, Wilson?

Floor: finnegan, Bryant, Johnson, KJ McClain Ballard (I do still like her for the lead off, she showed tremendous ability in that role this year and her tumbling keeps getting better)

Thoughts??

Why wouldn’t McClain vault? She has a huge DTY. Not sure how good she is with blind landings but surely she could do a 1.5 if that was safer for her.

Our beam lineup has insane potential and we all know you win national titles on beam.
