OU just had a medical retirement so another scholarship opened up. Weird that Avery still hasn’t announced…maybe she’s going a year early to OU because of the open spot?

Neff just posted on Twitter how hard her decision has been in deciding on a college. She wants to hear where everyone thinks she will land.

Florida retweeted Neff's post. Hope that doesn't mean anything... On a different topic: Does anybody know which colleges Charlotte Booth might be interested in, her recent bar work looks fab. She is from Florida though, might be tough to get her.

I feel like all signs point to Neff going to Florida. It’s a little silly how much she is playing this out. Talk about main character energy. I’ll change my opinion if she chooses LSU. Lol

I agree. Hopefully, Jay and Garrett have continued recruiting her. The Florida team has been adamant in keeping contact with her on social media. It seems that they feel she is their catch. She had planned to announce last week but something must have changed for her since it did not happen.

I mean it is a huge decision for her. I don’t see her going to Florida. I agree with someone who said it is too liberal. I hope she takes lsu but if not I think she just stays home and goes Utah.

Personally I find stuff like that extremely tacky and inappropriate. Its a bad look regardless of where she ends up. And if Florida is her choice, way to spoil the moment of a recruit

I was just having a conversation with my mom about NCAA athletic recruitment (as my family and extended family are currently going through this process for/with my cousin who recently committed to Penn for gymnastics). My mom, in very few words, essentially implied that the entire Florida team and coaching staff are actually currently violating the NCAA recruitment rules for communication between a recruit and a program, with their social media presence and their actions online. I’ve always gotten bad vibes from they entire coaching staff and they’ve rubbed me the wrong way for years. I really Really REALLY hope Avery doesn’t chose there because something sketchy is going on at Florida and I think it needs to be investigated

Really happy for Lexi, she was so consistent this year, she deserved this. Also in the interviews, her positive team spirit stood to me. I am glad she chose LSU and glad to know we have a commit who has the mental strength to hit her routines under pressure.

Have I missed something with LSU Recruiting? This post assumes that LSU is not an option for Neff. I thought we were still in the mix.

I honestly wouldn’t read too much into it. Until Avery makes her decision, every school is essentially still in the mix. I’m sure the coaches at every school has already discussed their scholarship count to ensure that Avery can have one at whatever school she decides to commit to, LSU included.

I’m not sure someone said on Twitter that they had a credible source she turned down Lsu weeks ago but who knows. There source could be wrong. I would be surprised if it’s not Florida cos of the retweet they made but I think she will likely end up at Utah or fl bit of course hold out hope for Lsu !
