Seems like Jayden Daniels wasn’t the problem after all. Toxic culture finally came to a head. JD saw the writing on the wall and got the hell out, good for him!

They could have hired Napier for Head Coach. Instead he took the gig at Louisiana. And of course, Florida...He was offensive coordinator under Herm Edwards at ASU...

I don't understand. What toxic culture dod he have there?? Coach Herm seemed like a good fit for college, always preaching and talking about shaping young men as being good christian men in playing football and all.

ASU has been a total shytshow. From poor press relations (Herm in introduction didn’t know what a Sun Devil was) to political intrigue, his agent stepping in it, investigations on recruiting practices, a mass firing of assistant coaches, and 17 transfers out— that pretty much smells like a dumpster fire.

That staff was atrocious. Daniels did the best he could with as transient as coaches were while he was there.

Here is caught up on the paradox of the coach who becomes famous as a commentator and speaker who goes back to coaching but doesn’t get away from the celebrity. Coaches are coaches. Herm is no longer a coach and hasn’t been for a long time
