I noticed your short calls are within the next month or two; and the longs are 2024. Are you typically putting on new short calls every month if the previous month expires worthless?

Yep.

Here is an example. I am long 15 Jan 2024 UAA 7.5 calls. Cost $6K. The May, June, July, Sept short calls that I sold against it have expired worthless. I will continue to do this every month. At some point the stock will go up and I will have to roll.

Sold Calls
STO UAA May 20 2022 12 calls 10 $0.31 $310.00
STO UAA June 17 2022 11 calls 12 $0.23 $276.00
STO UAA July 15 2022 10 calls 15 $0.14 $210.00
STO UAA Sept 2 2022 10.5 calls 15 $0.25 $375.00
UAA Sept 2 2022 10.5/13.5 bear 15 $0.13 $195.00
UAA Oct 21 2022 10/12.5 bfly 30/15 $0.21 $300.00

total $1,666.00

This is my worst performer(UAA) but best example. Hope you get the concept.

I expect this stock to go back to the $15-$20 range. When it does I will reap the benefit. I still have these calls for 16 months.
