I feel your pain dude. Same exact situation here. Gyms, trainers, diet programs, whatever. Thousands and thousands wasted over the years. Weight issues have never gone away in spite of all the money. But now, if she could only have a peleton, this time it would be different!

I’d be more apt to buy it if i knew she was going to the gym regularly and was doing this to save time. How have the husbands of the OT dealt with this dreaded question?

There would be no question. The wife would say, "I think I am going to buy a peleton."

Just like I would say, "I think I am going to buy a gun/Waverunner/whatever."

The other would say, "okay".

Give me a break. Pelotons are great. You & the wife could lose some weight. Why the hate, mate?

She’s gonna hold this over you if you want sex. Get her the thing and then you can cancel some silly event she has planned for you. Get her the Peloton.

You're basically paying for Pussy your entire life, now you're buying a Peloton for Pussy. So what? She didn't ask you for a beach house condo in Destin.

would completely pay for the gym membership for her to prove she will use it. Then I’d consider the peloton.

Are you her dad or her husband? I’m confused. If she’s making an effort to be healthy, don’t get in the way

Maybe she just doesn’t like going to the gym. Maybe she’d use the Peloton. Don’t be a cheap arse.

I always laugh at these stories, dudes can't get the wife to lose weight, the marriage deteriorates, they end up divorced.

She then decides to work out, get fit and find another dude. Gains the weight back.

We bought a peloton about four months ago and both of us agree it might be the the purchase we’ve made in years. Much cheaper than our previous memberships, so easy to go any time during the day … takes ten seconds to walk in there and get started. Amazing technology, love the touchscreen and all the classes. Both husband and I are riding about five days a week and doing strength classes, core classes, yoga, boot camp etc… every day of the week. It’s so much fun honestly that we have to force ourselves to take rest days. I wish we had bought it two years ago.

As far as results go I can see major body recomposition (compared to six months I spent lifting with personal trainer) prob because It’s so easy to do hiit and long zone two type rides daily.

I really can’t rave enough about it. And if I had teenagers even remotely interested in fitness it would be a no brainer as you can have multiple rider accounts in the one bike.
