Do you really think this guy has any impulse control whatsoever?

My point is that the police's narrative over the weekend that this was a "planned" attack seems to be flimsy at this point.

Edit: Not that I'm giving the criminal credit in either direction. He's either a cunning, planning murderer who had this all planned out. Or he's an impulsive murderer who chose a victim of opportunity.

In both cases, he's a murderer.

At this point, I'm just interested in his psychological profile to see if other missing persons with similar MOs can be connected to him.

I accidentally hit the downvote. Meant to upvote you. Sorry! I am sick about this situation and have advised my adult daughters to be insanely careful when out and about anywhere.

Break his legs tie him to a tree, cut open his stomach and fill it with corn, half arse dew it back up.

Then let some wild boars find him.
id rather watch that kind of execution

Nah, don't care to see the shitheads' face ruining any post of mine.
He's not worth even mentioning his name.
He should be shot dead now. Not even allowed to go back to prison where he probably feels at home hating whitey.

Got to say I admire the creativity here.

He's a sub 80 IQ with not enough foresight to plan more than 10 minutes into the future.

Not a bad idea.

I’d vote to stake him down during rising tide and ensure he’s still alive and incompletely drowned while the crabs start to feed on him. Hopefully this process takes 24+ hours and multiple high and low tides to complete.

The police chief was saying they thought it was premeditated and that perhaps Eliza was specifically targeted, but this seems more likely to be an impulse. Hell, he even drove a car with a distinctive busted taillight.

Perhaps we're overlooking a variation on an old homily

Murderers can't be choosers.

He only knew so many people who would loan him a car (see the bill of indictment).

Allegedly, the body is Liza’s. May God bless her family.

Prayers for Eliza Fletcher’s family. For those of you following the story I just got confirmation she has been found deceased?? One of the people in my missing persons/anti-trafficking network was actually friends with her and confirmed it.

Maybe not considering what time it was but even if they did, yeah, completely agree. Sad but true

I think he planned to do what he did that night, just didn’t specifically target Liza. He targeted a female alone. Whether or not he planned to kill whomever, idk, but he’ll get charged with 1st degree regardless because he was already charged with kidnapping. Doesn’t need to be premeditated when certain other felonies are involved.

Body was found less than a mile from the brother’s apartment.

In the Google Earth link the woods are on the bottom right and apartment complex is in upper left.

Yeah sounds like he was on the hunt for the first woman he came across and she was the poor unlucky soul. I have a female coworker who doesn’t live far from there, must be a terrifying thought.

My best friend’s wife is a elementary school teacher at a school right next door to Memphis State. To say she’s scared right now is an understatement

Agreed. The cops had to know after his arrest that he wasn’t a bright one and they would do their DD and track her down. I mean heck, he hid this young woman a block from where he was seen.

DA has this guy dead to rights right now. He has zero leverage now.

Your best friend married a grade school teacher in Memphis?

Good for him.

This is premeditation

I agree this heinous crime appears premeditated but I’m not following the wallet theft being a part of that. Was it Eliza’s wallet, because I haven’t read that anywhere.
