I purchased Iron Maiden's Killers and The Number of the Beast at the same time because of the cover art. I had no clue who they were or what the music would be like.

I saw Maiden open for 38 Special in '82 and bought those 2 records the next day.
I had my dad buy me Boston's debut record because there was no cover, the vinyl had their logo printed on it and I had to have it and still do.
