re: Red Rising Book 6 (Light Bringer) Release Date 7/25 (LB Spoilers pg 2)

Upon second read/listen through, just came across another detail around power.

When given the chance to sell their souls for ultimate power, Lysander and Lyria chose differently. When presented the idea from Atlas, Lysander even remarks that he would need to sell his soul. Lyria did not want to lose her memories/who she is as a person/soul.

So when given the opportunity of greater power, the powerful Lysander chose more power and the weaker Lyria chose to give up/remove that power.

Perhaps reading into it too far, but a potentially interesting philosophical debate regardless.
