Clears the way for Neto.

I think Wolve's asking price might prevent this deal from happening.

At this point, you can't criticize Arsenal's transfer dealings the last two summers, so obviously I trust Edu and Arteta. But I do wish we could get Pulisic and then move Saka to the number 8 position that Xhaka is playing right now, where, if we are going to use Man City's system, would actually bring him much closer to goal. Saka from the left or the right is great, but he's so versatile, he could play literally anywhere. Pulisic has the same drive and is a good ball-carrier, which is something we still need, especially against teams that will adjust to our current absolutely amazing set-up.

Pulisic is a nice player and will thrive in the right system however his injury woes worry me.

We've been pretty good about injuries under Arteta. All or Nothing really got me back on board, as it made complete sense that the Kroenkes didn't invest until Usmanov left. It sucks terribly for Wenger, but as dgnx6 pointed out a few weeks ago, Wenger did a pretty poor job with his purchases after 2015. I still miss him and the way we played then, but also I'm remembering those wonderful little passages of play where we looked like gods, and not the positional and defensive struggles, as well as our terrible form during the winter.

Au revoir Pepe... Clears some payroll for a late signing

At first I hated the idea of it happening but now that I've watched it all, it certainly cleared the air about some things while it showed Arteta is Arsenal through and through . It was difficult to watch for a long time trying to have players play the Arsenal way that simply weren't good enough to do so.

Aren’t we still paying part of his wage though?

Echoing all this. That series was great. I’m a big Arteta fan and even though he had struggles at times I trusted he would sort it out. I loved him as a player for us, even though he was on the end of his career. Just so intelligent. Add to his experiences as a player an experience for several years coaching alongside Pep and it just made sense it would work out. But god damn I would get so tired as a coach of coming up with new inspiring philosophical bullshite for every pregame and halftime speech and I say that with upmost respect, some of those speeches were bonkers good

Mainland-Niles appears to be heading to Southampton or Bournemouth (both good spots for him) and then it leaves just Bellerin and these stingy bastards at Betis

I really want to get into coaching kids or high-schoolers, especially after some pick-up games recently where this 3-1-2-1 system I designed worked super well, especially at covering defensive deficiencies of less technical players. I can’t say I wasn’t a little inspired by Arteta’s approach. I don’t think I could ever do the speeches with any gravitas though. That’s far harder than the tactics lol.

Coach Mitchell would never do that shite for us

But there’s a good chance I’m gonna try to coach an eighth, ninth, or JV team in the city this coming season. Just needs to be somewhere that doesn’t start until 330 or later.

I've read he's reduced wages but we might still pay part of it. Regardless he was one of our top earners so it's a big net savings.

If we can offload AMN I have no issue terminating Bellerin contract. I know it's not the precedent we want to set but I think this transfer window is the final window we are stuck with this garbage contracts. Plus Bellerin been great professional for us, don't want to sour the relationship over a small transfer fee.

Love the Europa League group we are in.
Bodo is a beautiful place in Norway.
PSV is a legit opponent.
Also these games gives our players who aren't playing much premier league minutes valuable game time. Lokonga, Tierney, Tomiyasu, ESR. Guys I want to see out there are going to dominate this competition.
