So basically you’re saying the view from the uppers is great and it’s rowdy
I can’t comment on the rowdiness (I’ve only been once to the Emirates) but I definitely would want to be much higher than 4 rows from the field.

Team actually looks pretty damn healthy for once. Looking ahead to Saturday, assuming we keep same starting XI, who from the bench against Leicester drops out for Viera or does Veiera still not make the bench since he's just getting back to playing with U21?

Subs for Leicester: Turner, Tomi, Tierney, Holding, Sambi, Elneny, ESR, Eddie, and Pepe.

ETA: I predict we have some lineup and bench to rest Veiera. But if we do put him in I wonder if holding drops since White and Tomi could play CB.

There have been some Pepe on loan to Nice rumors. So he may eventually take that spot.

Esr and not Pepe did come on for saka.

I think Vieira stays off the bench this weekend and gets a little more time to get match fit. He played 45 minutes in the U-21 game yesterday with ESR and Cedric.

In Academy news:
quote:

Hull have agreed a deal to sign Arsenal starlet Salah Oulad M’Hand on a loan deal which includes an option to make it permanent next summer. The player’s desire to play for Hull is understood to have been a significant factor in the deal.
Kind of surprising to me since he was getting some rave reviews last season in the academy and had a few first team call-ups. I wonder if it's a case of him not wanting to sign a new contract soon and Arsenal just cashing in before they lose any leverage.

Anyone knows any family friendly places that shows soccer matches to potentially watch the match Saturday in Nola? Well aware of Finn's but it's not really a place you can bring a baby.

I think we're going to see a big change in how we handle player contracts going forward. As fans we might get upset about selling some of these youth players with potential, but I imagine they will want to cash in while they can. AMN could have gotten us $20million+ a few years back. Joe Willock had potential but we cashed in. Think it depends a lot on their realistic spot in the senior squad too.

Hey dude. If the weather is okay Saturday you could watch on one of the outdoor televisions at Finns.

Because it’s on NBC I would a place like Walk On’s would have it. But like Glass said you could watch outside at Finn’s.
ETA: or any brewery in the city with TVs.

Fat harries potentially. During the day kids are allowed in. I’ve watched a game there but usually go to Finns.

Definitely looking like more of a complete club than they have in years.

Don’t see winning the PL but it’s past time to end the CL drought.

The jury has been out on Arteta but they should reach a verdict after this season. No top four again and Arteta should be sacked.

It appears that Marquinhos will be on the bench tomorrow.

Arsenal are set to clear out another unwanted player as Nicolas Pepe closes on a loan move to Nice. Arsenal are expected to subsidise some of Pepe’s £140k-a-week wages at the French club.

I can see the club going after a winger to back up Saka with Pepe moving on. Marquinhos looks like the real deal but I think they are going to slowly ease him in. Vieira looks much more of a midfielder than a winger.

I like Pepe, he just didn't work out for us. I hope he goes on, gets minutes and kills it. Seems like one or all of AMN, Nelson and Bellerin will leave before its all said and done.

It will be interesting to see if there is any more additions. Arteta was recently quoted "we are focusing on the players we have now" and "It has to be the right person and the right player and we only want to bring through top quality through that door."

Not sure if Nelson will move this window since he's injured. I could see him leave in January though.

Should I read anything into Tielemans being on the bench this match?

I saw Fofana wasn't even included in the team.

Fofana is going to Chelsea. Lets hope Tielemans is out as well b/c he's on his way to us.

Now that Pepe is gone we need to figure out how to bring in Pulisic on loan or something
