Killen’s has a restaurant in the woodlands. Haven’t been to that location but the original is great. Beef rib is awesome, don’t sleep on the bread pudding
tejas chocolate Is in Tomball is about 20-30 minutes away but is really good. I prefer it but not sure it’s worth drive.

As mentioned Tejas is really good, otherwise Corkscrew in spring is on all the best in Texas list top 10s. It’s closer to the resort just across 45

Worked in the Woodlands for a long time and have stayed there when LA family comes to visit.
The Woodlands resort course is solid, not amazing, usually in good shape with some really fun holes. Panther trail, as someone mentioned earlier, is also a good track. Palmer course, which I think you can get on, is great but really hard.
If you can somehow get onto either Carlton Woods course do it. More expensive but it’s the best golf in north Houston and some of the best in all of greater Houston.
Don’t get food at the resort, it’s crazy expensive and not that good. Fieldings is a great burger place local to the Woodlands and pretty close. Gramaldi’s pizza is good and easy. There is a sports bar not far called Ronny G’s that’s good too. Also there is a Beck’s Prime close by.
