Love their brisket and pulled pork. Ribs are tasty.

Also, the smothered mustard greens are a must if they have it available when you visit.

Nice! What year did you leave? I work with a great guy who used to bartend for them.

Electric Jellyfish is obviously one of the best beers in town as well

I left in 2017 when I moved to Boston. What's that guy's name? Or you can just give me initials, maybe I know him. Do you know which location he worked?

EJ is the best. I wish I could get it in DFW. I'm planning on grabbing some next month when I'm in town.

You would have been before him then. His name is Kabu and he started in 2019 or 2020.

Pretty sure it was the Burnet location.

You're right, that's after my time. I don't know him, but a quick search tells me we have several friends in common.

The PHP community is pretty close, ownership does a lot to bring members of the different locations together.

No doubt, he’s a good dude and speaks very highly of his time there!

I may, haven’t decided yet. We are cooking at the Troubadour Festival in Tyler and probably the one in Celina. You going to either of those?

Burnt Bean Co in Seguin, TX shot up my list of favs. Maybe the best brisket & ribs I’ve ever had. Solid sides as well.

Previous fav would prob be Terry Black’s, Truth BBQ & La Barbecue
