The tactical team arrived at the scene around noon, but did not breach until nearly an hour later, the officials saying local police were telling them to hold back. According to Texas Department of Safety head Steven McCraw, the on-scene commander at the time thought the situation had “transitioned” from an active shooter situation to a “barricade” shooter situation with no children at risk, which he admitted was the “wrong” decision in hindsight.

Sounds like he was scared and just didn’t want to risk his life. Regardless of what you think in this situation, if you don’t have eyes on the truth then you have to go in there and assume kids are alive.

What's weird is that during that hour, there is no doubt they heard rounds getting fired off. Were they standing around jerking eachother off?

They probably were preoccupied harassing someone over a joint or killing someone’s dog. Typical cop duties

the god ones have all quit already, the majority of what is left are bullies who are there only for the power trip and ability to wield that power over others.

im sure there are a few good cops still left but they are very few and far between

The shooter fired 150+ rounds within 2 minutes of entering. Fired more when they tried to breach the door. Knowing what we know now yeah it’s easy to say what should have been done.

Had they been able to get in the room quickly but he kills 10 more kids when they enter. Everyone would be bitching and crying saying they caused those deaths.

That's great an all but what were the cops doing for the other 58 minutes?

It would also be easy to know what should have been done if we didn't know anything at all. Engage the shooter until neutralized. There is NO other acceptable course of action in an active shooter situation.

Quit making shitty excuses. These guys were either scared or hopelessly incompetent.

From one of the videos, it appears they were more busy and occupied zip tying and tasing parents who wanted to go in and rescue their own children.

Indication something is wrong with your soul. These people often progress to humans. Idk but if you follow up on this kind of thing you just might know who to watch.

If it’s as bad as it currently seems, there will be criminal prosecutions, not to mention the applicable insurance companies are about to suffer a tremendous loss.
