He said that Woodward loves recruiting and he is always in his ears about a person they need to check out.

I understood this differently when I listened. I took it as Woodward loves recruiting. And then…. Woodward let’s him know who the important people (businessmen, politicians, etc.) are at the next thing on Kelly’s calendar.

Saban and Arnsburger were the other two smart ones we have had.

Towards the beginning of the interview, he mentioned there were some guys who were no longer a part of the program because they wanted “something easier.” Who have we lost this offseason to transfer portal besides Deion Smith and Joe Evans?

Excellent piece such an organized smart man.
He's about as close to Saban as there is out there and SW got him in here.

Well, after his first OC that he got rid of after a year, it was the USC offense he wanted to run, then it was decided we needed to run the spread (broad term honestly) and bring someone in to run that, then after Brady (where Ensminger was officially the OC) it was referred to as the Joe Brady offense. So lot's of evolutions.

I wish Jacques would have asked him if he ever punched himself in the face to get his team motivated.

You seem to forget that in 2019 LSU had a second yr QB that was a coach on the field & Dave Aranda head coach of the defense. Hell, Curley Hallman could have won the Natty with that team, just like he did with Bret Farve. Great players make great coaches like they say.

B K is about the process, he could be a Sabin clone without being an a-hole. that's my opinion so far. Don't know if he can keep Sabin out of Louisiana, losing Eli Holstein hurt a little.
