I think either something is an offense or it is not. If having sex with a 16 year old is legal then the position of the individual "in power" is a moot point. If a person of a certain age having sex with a minor is wrong, then make it illegal, regardless of their "position of power", whatever that means. Pretending it is some greater offense because they are a teacher or boss or pastor is silly and based in marxist feminism.

When I was growing up, some 25 year old loser skeezeball having sex with a 17 year old was legal. Would you rather the guy with the mullet, no job, and three girlfriends or the 25 year old teacher with a job and a degree have sex with your daughter? Not forgetting that in the modern philosophy, gangbanging the entire football team is considered "empowering" and "her choice".

Ok, so that's a yes? You would eliminate any potential criminal penalties for this pastor having sex with this minor from his congregation as occurred in this scenario? Because holding him accountable legally would be Marxism? This is your position?

I think a 40 year old having sex with an underage girl is pathetic and wrong. If you're going to pass laws saying a grown up can have sex with an underage person, their position is moot. Quit trying to pretend you're too stupid to understand that.

I would not leave my daughter alone with man like that. I wouldn't be in the church of a man like that. I don't abdicate my position of authority in my home to a pastor. Prerending this is some wild and happenstance situation is nuts.

Judgmental statements of how great of a parent you are and you are bullet proof are signs of ignorance. It literally takes about 90 seconds for a person to drop your daughter's panties and bang her. Whether it be a teacher after school or any number of situations. Don't curse yourself with arrogance.
