i promise many many people have tried stud athletes that are lefty at SS.

And why (pray tell) can't he play 1st base in MLB? Best defensive 1st baseman in college, bats over 300 with a bad wheel and plays hurt.

He is left handed so no. The pro scouts are projecting him to be an outfielder. And I am sure he will do very well there.

man you should contact every coach at every level in the history of baseball.
i’m sure none of them ever once thought to put their best athlete at SS before because he’s a lefty.
by the way, there is video of Don Mattingly playing 3B lefty. and it’s funny looking as hell.

Yeah I read that and thought it had to be a joke. To even think that it hasn't been tried "properly" just cements my thoughts that this a joke. LH SS

Holy cow. I’ve never seen that thread. Flip it to the 3rd baseman then let him hun it to 1st. That had to be a troll job. Right?

Clarify please, are you saying MLB 1st Basemen lack athletic ability and Morgan's Athletic Skill make him too good to play first?
Dude is a vacuum. I am thinking he would be a stud at 1st Base.

he’s be a stud defender at 1B in the pros.
just that most pro managers don’t put athletic freaks like Morgan at 1B, they put them in OF to max out their athleticism.
so it’s not that he “can’t” play 1B. it’s that managers will more likely put him in OF where he can still be a stud, and use a bigger less athletic hitter at 1B.
Because if you put Morgan at 1B that bigger less athletic slugger doesn’t have a spot.
